Staff Representative

The Staff Representative is responsible for guiding and advising UNAC/UHCP Affiliates and members; building leadership, activism and solidarity; representing and advancing the Union in our members’ workplaces; negotiating and enforcing collective bargaining agreements; handling, negotiating and resolving grievances and other disputes; and supporting, educating and providing direction to Affiliate officers and representatives. The Staff Representative will achieve these goals through the creative and discretionary exercise of all responsibilities and activities outlined below.
